Late one night, Liam received a strange message: "I'm outside your window." He glanced at the closed blinds and laughed, assuming it was a prank.
Then came another: "I'm coming inside." He dismissed it and went to lock his front door just in case, the laughter fading.
As he reached the door, a third message arrived: "I'm in your bedroom." He froze, realizing that his phone wasn’t in his hand anymore. He looked back towards his bedroom and saw it – his own hand holding his phone, peeking out from behind the door. The phone's screen lit up with one last message: "Look behind you."
Liam had always been a bit of a night owl. It wasn’t unusual for him to stay up well past midnight, especially since he worked remotely and didn’t need to be up early.
